I'm so tired,

Of feeling things that I don't want to,

Of faking feelings that I don’t have,

Of pretending I have it together

Of hiding how I feel on the inside, So I can be someone else’s idea of me,

I’m tired of trying to be perfect. It hurts to hold it in,

But it hurts more to express then,

I wish that I could not feel

Then nothing could hurt, And there would be nothing to fake.
