Staff Positions Available
Applications are open to ages 13-19 only. Note that these are all no pay positions—we exist to give fellow teens an opportunity to grow, resume-build, have fun, and share their talents with the world! You will be contacted within two weeks with a decision.
Computer Technician
We are looking for a teen with experience in fixing general technology issues and skills in code to assist with future website development.
Staff Manager
We are looking for easy-going, yet assertive managers. This leadership position involves contacting members about uploading requirements, keeping track of uploads and making sure everyone stays on schedule. Note that staff management can become a time consuming position, only apply if you are willing to dedicate 2-4 hours a week.

Social Media Manager
We are looking for passionate, ambitious, and creative teens who will help brainstorm and implement social media marketing plans to further our growth. Those with a talent for making well-received and funny content are welcome! Note that social media managers are expected to upload consistently, this means anywhere from one post a day to 3-4 per week depending on the platform. Only apply if you are willing to dedicate the time to fill those requirements.

Filmmaker
We are looking for creative filmmakers who will produce short films to be published as entertainment or education. Producing videos for marketing purposes (ex: editing YouTube Videos) is welcomed— but not required! This position requires a minimum of one upload per month as a member (uploading older work to meet deadlines is always allowed), or a minimum of one total upload as a contributor.
Screenwriter
We are looking for talented screenwriters who will produce screenplays (or excerpts of screenplays) to be published as entertainment. This position requires a minimum of one upload per month as a member (uploading older work to meet deadlines is always allowed), or a minimum of one total upload as a contributor.
Photographer
We are looking for photographers who will incorporate unique and beautiful perspectives into their work. This position requires a minimum of one upload per month as a member (uploading older work to meet deadlines is always allowed), or a minimum of one total upload as a contributor.
Musician
We are looking for musicians (vocal or instrumental) to publish videos or audio of their works/covers, all genres are welcome. This position requires a minimum of one upload per month as a member (uploading older work to meet deadlines is always allowed), or a minimum of one total upload as a contributor.
General/Social Media Marketer
We are looking for creative teens with extended knowledge of, or have taken a class for, marketing. This position involves coming up with marketing strategies to boost Synthesis’ reach and create a stronger audience. Note that this role requires dedication, as creating a proper marketing plan is no short or easy task. Be aware that all plans must be approved by the co-presidents before implementation, and you will likely work within a team.
Writers and Artists.
We are looking for writers and artists who want a space to publish their incredible work. All genres, mediums and styles are welcome! This position requires a minimum of one upload per month as a member (uploading older work to meet deadlines is always allowed), or a minimum of one total upload as a contributor.
